Terms of Service

Effective 23 July 2026

Template notice. This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified Australian lawyer before relying on it.

1. Who we are

TeachTimeLab (“TeachTimeLab”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted marking tool for teachers. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be a teacher or education professional aged 18 or over. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

TeachTimeLab is a marking aid: it proposes a first-pass assessment that you review, adjust, and approve. You remain the responsible marker. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or use it to process content you are not authorised to handle.

4. Student work & privacy

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any document you submit. TeachTimeLab is designed for anonymised work — remove student names before upload. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Plans, billing & refunds

Free accounts include a monthly evaluation allowance. Paid plans (billed via Stripe) unlock additional features and are charged in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are in Australian dollars and may change with notice.

6. AI-generated output

Marking suggestions are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are provided for your professional review and are not a substitute for your judgement. We do not guarantee any particular grade, outcome, or accuracy.

7. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TeachTimeLab is provided “as is” and our liability is limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
